Semiconductor quantum processor with shuttling-based scalable architecture
The aim of this project is to implement and demonstrate a microarchitecture without geometric scaling limits at quantum level using semiconductor technology available in Germany. Si/SiGe quantum wells, for which the reproducibility of qubits has already been demonstrated, serve as the technological basis for this. A central element is the shuttling of electrons on the chip in order to couple qubits to each other in a scalable manner. The project aims to demonstrate all key architectural elements and their functions with competitive quality.
